Carsten Schürmann supported the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), Frankfurt/Main, in the organisation and implementation of an internal seminar series in November on digitisation in the transport sector. Invited speakers at the four webinars were Mr. Peter Lubrich (BASt, Bergisch Gladbach) on big data and mobility platforms, Dr. Martin Kagerbauer (KIT, Karlsruhe) on Mobility-as-a-Service (Maas), Mr. Klaus Geschwinder (Region Hannover, Hannover) on public traffic management and Mr. Michael Gross (METAMORPHIO, Hamburg) on smart and integrated ticketing systems in public transport. In addition to presenting the state of the art, the discussions focused on the transferability of the solutions to emerging and developing countries in which KfW is active.   Other news
